Anne Jacqueline Hathaway was born November 12, 1982), in Brooklyn, New York City. Anne was named after Shakespeare’s wife, and she was born to parents Gerald and Kathleen Ann. Her mother, Kate, is a former actress, and her father was a labor lawyer.
