Pete Edochie appears to have responded to the news for the first time since reports of his death spread online.
After his son Uche dispelled reports of his father’s passing, legendary actor Pete Edochie thanked everyone who had wished him long life and good health.
The 75-year-old thanked his followers for their prayers and their compliments after he released a video of himself dancing in an Instagram post on Sunday. He stated:
“HAPPY WEEKEND TO MY ENTIRE ONLINE TEAM. THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS AND COMPLIMENTS IN THE PREVIOUS POST. WISH YOU ALL LONG LIFE IN GREAT HEALTH TOO.”
GISTLOVER News recalls Uche Edochie in an Instagram post on July 8 debunked the rumour his father was involved in a car accident that led to his death.
The rumour started circulating on social media after several bloggers reported that the actor died in a motor accident.
Uche stated that a group of people had taken up the task of declaring his father dead for the past twenty years, adding that human beings are a “weird bunch.”
