Adele can add “Emmy victor” to her rundown of achievements. On Saturday night, the 34-year-old “Hi” vocalist won a sculpture at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Special.
The honor was in acknowledgment of Adele’s TV extraordinary “Adele One Night Only”, which circulated Nov. 14, 2021.
With her most memorable Emmy win, Adele is adding to a huge number of other significant honor wins, including 15 Grammys and an Oscar for Best Original Song for her hit James Bond subject “Skyfall”.
All that is left presently is for the vocalist to win a Tony Award to come to the sought-after EGOT club.
The vocalist kidded about her recently discovered “Self image” status in an offhanded tweet referring to the accomplishment.
“Horrendous damnation I’m tickled pink!” she composed.
“Much obliged to you Ben for dropping this round to me this evening!! Trust me to authoritatively have an EGO 🤣,” she proceeded. “Much thanks @TelevisionAcad I’m not terrible, but not great either respected to get this.”
17 performers have procured EGOT status, succeeding no less than one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony grant, including Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Audrey Hepburn, Rita Moreno, Mel Brooks, Whoopi Goldberg, and the sky is the limit from there.
On Twitter, fans observed Adele’s most recent honor win.
