Sylvester Stallone’s former Beverly Hills mansion has been almost completely transformed following an ambitious renovation by Grammy-winning singer Adele.
According to the Daily Mail, Adele has gutted nearly every part of the estate she purchased from the Rocky star in 2022, leaving the once-iconic home barely recognisable. The extensive redevelopment is expected to cost more than $50 million (£37.2 million), roughly matching the amount she originally paid for the property.
The only feature retained from Stallone’s era is the famous swimming pool, which includes a statue of the actor in his legendary Rocky Balboa pose. While Stallone’s residence featured a Mediterranean design with terracotta roofing, Adele’s vision has shifted the mansion toward a sleek, ultra-modern aesthetic, complete with full-length glass windows surrounding the property.
The renovation, overseen by construction firm Valle Reinis, has been ongoing since January 2022 and is projected to take several more years before completion. Reports suggest the devastating January 2025 fires in the Pacific Palisades, which destroyed thousands of homes, may have caused additional delays.
Located in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, the property also requires specialised safety features, including fire-resistant roofing materials and other protective specifications.
Once completed, Adele is expected to move into the home with her teenage son from her marriage to Simon Konecki and her fiancé, sports agent Rich Paul.
