Gov. El-Rufai Should Be Held Responsible – Actor Kenneth Okonkwo Speaks On Assassination Of Kaduna LP Women Leader

Kenneth Okonkwo, Nollywood actor and spokesman for the Labour Party’s presidential campaign council, believes Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai should be held accountable for the death of his party’s women leader, Mrs Victoria Chintex, if the perpetrators are not apprehended and prosecuted.

The death of Victoria, who was shot dead by gunmen on Monday night, has sparked a variety of reactions across the country.

Reports say the assassins broke into her residence at about 8pm and shut her dead.

On Twitter, Kenneth wrote: “The Labour Party Women Leader in Kaura, Kaduna State, Victoria Chintex, was on Monday, 28th Nov, shot dead by suspected assassins.

“The APC Governor of Kaduna State, El-Rufai, should be held responsible for her death as the CSO if the killers are not apprehended immediately.”

Also reacting to her death on Tuesday, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi wrote: “I am shocked by the mindless killing of Mrs. Victoria Chintex, the Labour Party’s women leader in Kaura, Kaduna State, by yet to be identified gunmen. Her death is a huge loss to her immediate and extended family, and to our Labour Party. She lives on in our hearts.

“Her killing, and the loss of many innocent lives across the nation to gunmen and terrorists, are the reason why I must prioritize the war against insecurity as my first task in office. We must not allow the waste of human lives in Nigeria under any guise.

“May the soul of Late Mrs. Victoria Chintex rest in perfect peace. My sincere condolence to her family.”

Comments from @James Erie reads: “This is more reason we shouldn’t disappoint those who have paid untmate price for this movement, from endsars 🤏🤏 to this current movement. I’ve made up my mind to fight till the end.. even if it means I will sacrifice my life for the freedom of Nigeria.. I will do it willingly.”

@Yomie06: “It’s well. We’ve lost an icon in Labour Party. May God give everyone, most especially the family fortitude to bear this great lost. Whosoever did this, should also know death is a debt on everyone’s neck, time & type of death that differ .”

@Vaters: “This election is all about the forces of good and evil, light and darkness which shall prevail. The Sanbalat and Tobias of our nation will proceed no further, play your part we will do our part in spiritual warfare lets see how darkness overwhelms light ONE ME ME!”
