Real Madrid will be eager to win against lowly Cadiz on Matchday 14 in order to revenge their previous defeat to Rayo Vallecano.
Leaders Barcelona will have a difficult travel to Osasuna, who are presently in fifth place, in order to retain their advantage over Los Blancos.
Atletico Madrid visits Mallorca, a team in the middle of the standings, while Real Betis and Valencia, two out-of-sorts teams, clash at the Mestalla.
A big assignment awaits struggling Sevilla when they welcome Real Sociedad, who are currently in sixth place.
On Monday night, Rayo Vallecano surprised Real Madrid by winning 3-2; but, Carlo Ancelotti’s team will be optimistic of quickly getting back to winning ways.
Only the other two teams in the relegation zone (Elche and Celta Vigo) have allowed more than their 24 goals against, while no team in the division has scored less goals than Cadiz’s eight.
However, Los Blancos will have to be alert to prevent conceding any more points. After all, their Andalucian opponents have won eight straight games with just one loss (two wins, five draws).
