Chioma Akpota, a Nollywood actress, has finally broken her silence two days after the death of late Peace Anyiam-Osigwe.
Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, the Founder/Chief Executive Officer of the Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA), died on Monday, January 9th, at the St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos following a brief illness.
Chioma claimed that she hard to comprehend that an icon had died while mourning with her colleagues in the profession. She expressed her deep regret for not following up on their previous talk.
She wrote: “For 2 days I have struggled to believe you aren’t here with us anymore
I still do not have the right words Peace. I will forever regret not following up on our last conversation. No more pain Peace! No more Fears and worries. Just sitting pretty at the feet of the Master with your beautiful crown. Rest in Peace my Dear PEACE ANYIAM OSIGWE”.
