Erling Haaland scored his fourth hat-trick of the season to give Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City a boost in their title race with Arsenal.
Manchester City moved within two points of Premier League leaders Arsenal after a 3-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
Just before the hour mark, Erling Haaland scored another hat-trick at the Etihad, putting the hosts in command. Wolves provided little offensively and were relieved when Pep Guardiola took Haaland off shortly after his third goal.
Arsenal has two games in hand on City and can reclaim their five-point lead if they beat Manchester United at the Emirates on Sunday evening. Guardiola and his victorious players will be watching how their London neighbors fare.
