A leaked chat which shows Afrobeat singer, Davido appealing to Blaqbonez over plans to drop songs on the same day as him has sparked reactions online.
Recall a few days ago, Davido shook social media with his comeback after a long break and silence. He made a grand entrance by announcing his third album titled ‘Timeless’, to be released on March 31st.
Coincidentally, Nigerian Rapper, Blaqbonez had prior Davido’s return on the 16th of March, announced that he will dropping a new project on the 31st of March, same as Davido.
Blaqbonez went on to rant that it seems his colleagues do not want him to grow because it has happened before.
Out of fear that Davido’s album reception has a high probability of overshadowing his own song if they both drop on the same day, Blaqbonez chatted the OBO up via DM.
After welcoming him back on social media, he shared his old post where he earlier announced plans to drop a song and when Davido found out they are to release songs on the same day, he said it didn’t matter because their audiences are different.
However, after guessing Blaqbonez’ fear, Davido appealed to him not to vex.
