Daddy Freeze, a popular Nigerian broadcaster, has spoken out about the electoral violence that marred the 2023 governorship and state house of assembly elections in Lagos state.
Multiple cases of ballot box snatching have been reported in various parts of the state.
Some residents of Lagos state from the southeast were particularly threatened against voting for a particular party.
Daddy Freeze stated during his live Facebook session that even though he is from Osun state, he will always speak the truth.
He claims that the Igbo people have made numerous contributions to the development of Lagos state.
He said without the Igbos Lagos state may not be what it is today.
“Without Igbo we cannot be what we are in Lagos state. We need them. They have made enormous impact in this Lagos. Let us not let politics divide us.” Daddy Freeze said.
