Highly talented Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has reacted after he was excluded from the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2023 nominations.
The movie star, who was the lead actor in the Netflix blockbuster ‘Anikulapo’, was snubbed in the ‘Best Actor’ category despite the fact that the movie received 16 nominations.
Kunle Remi’s exclusion from the list didn’t sit well with many fans and lovers of the movie who trooped to different social media platforms to air their grievance with AMVCA.
Kunle Remi has now responded to the public outcry in a post shared on his Instagram page, where he appreciated his fans for the love and recognition.
The 34-year-old actor also congratulated the nominees and joked that they are lucky he was not nominated, otherwise he would have won the award.
He also pointed out that his colleague, Deyemi Okanlawom, was also not nominated in the ‘best actor’ category and playfully asked his closed ones to check how he is faring.
“I have been seeing all the tags after the AMVCA nomination announcement. It would be nonchalant to not appreciate the love, calls and messages.
