JUST IN: President Tinubu signs Student Loan Bill

If borrowing is a crime stop using Benz and Lexus - Tinubu advices Nigerians

The Student Loan Bill, signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), provides for interest-free loans to underprivileged Nigerian students.

During his campaign, Tinubu promised to provide student loans as part of efforts to enhance the education sector and build youth capacity.

Tinubu made the pledge at London’s British Royal Institute.

“Youths are the greatest asset of tomorrow,” Tinubu stated in Chatham House, answering questions from attendees.

He stated that they will be included in his “all-inclusive” government, referring to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
