Bastian Schweinsteiger, a former midfielder for Germany, has accused Pep Guardiola with being to blame for the team’s collapse.
Schweinsteiger stated they lost their ideals as a result of the Manchester City management in an interview with talkSPORT.
“When Pep Guardiola joined Bayern Munich, when he came to the country, everyone believed we have to play this kind of football, like short passes and everything.
“We were kind of losing our values,” Schweinsteiger said.
Schweinsteiger played under Guardiola for two seasons at Bayern Munich.
He then left the club in 2015, while Guardiola joined City in 2016.
