Shehu Sani, the former senator for Kaduna Central, was granted an interview on Arise a few hours ago, where he reacted to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 28-name cabinet list.
Shehu Sani said, “with the released ministerial list, it is evident that the president was in a dilemma when he said he has people with assets that can salvage this country.
I can vouch for Bauchi state’s Professor Pate that he was nominated simply because he has proven himself, over the years, to have done well in the health sector.
It is however a tragedy that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu nominated former Kaduna governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, despite all he has said and done in this country.”
Lastly, Shehu Sani said, “I want the president to know that now is not the time to appease former governors. If he meant well, he will not appease the former governors with the ministerial nomination.”
