Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, is the latest star to speak out about the country’s escalating poverty.
While commenting to the government’s intention to provide poor Nigerians N8k monthly, Iyabo worried whether Nigerians have the courage to endure before reaping the fictitious Renewed Hope.
The single mother of two stated that there is severe hunger in the country and that the government’s palliative strategy is a smack in the face.“I hope Nigerians have the strength to hold on b4 we begin to reap this our imaginary Renewed Hope….. There is serious hunger in the land, and 8k monthly to the pøor is definitely not the solution… That is definitely a joke & a slap”.
