Renowned musician Divine Ikubor, more commonly known as Rema, has asserted that his sole motivation for creating music is not financial gain.
Despite achieving financial security through his freestyles and social media posts, the 21-year-old revealed that his record company discovered him.
During an interview with Korty EO, Rema stated that even if he hadn’t succeeded in the music industry, he would still be relentlessly pursuing various avenues to earn a living.
The ‘Calm Down’ crooner said, “If music didn’t work, I will still be pushing that p in the corner while hustling, you understand.
“Even at that point where I was doing freestyles, I didn’t really need to do a freestyle because I needed money. I had money. I was actually good.”
