““It wasn’t even up to 24 hours” – Mohbad’s sister-in-law calls out singer’s father over fast burial (Video)

The sudden and swift burial of late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has sparked a controversy as his sister-in-law takes to social media to voice her distress and demand a proper investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Mohbad passed away unexpectedly, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry and his fanbase.

However, his death has now taken a contentious turn as his family’s actions are called into question.

In a heartfelt Instagram live video, Mohbad’s wife’s elder sister expressed her concerns and dissatisfaction with the immediate burial of the late singer.

She emphasized that Mohbad was a devout Christian and not a Muslim, which raised questions about the hurried burial conducted without an autopsy.

In her words;

“It’s not even Up to 24 hours, and Mohbad’s father just ran and hurriedly buried him. Mohbad is not even a Muslim. He is a Christian,” the sister stated, visibly distraught. “I was on the phone throughout yesterday protesting that Mohbad shouldn’t be buried until an autopsy is carried out on him. No defamation of my sister will be allowed.”

Her video resonated with netizens, who took to various social media platforms to express their concerns and demand justice for the late singer.

Many called for Mohbad’s father to be questioned regarding the hasty burial and the sister’s claims.
