The Nigeria Police Force has denied the viral rumours alleging the arrest of the renowned singer, Naira Marley, and socialite, Sam Larry, in connection with the tragic passing of the 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The shocking revelation comes amidst a wave of fervent support from fans of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who have been demanding justice for the late Mohbad amid suspicions of a possible homicide case..
In a statement released by Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the spokesperson for the Lagos Annex of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Zone 2, Alagbon, the police categorically refuted the claims of the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
“The report is false; it is a lie; no one has been arrested. The police did not arrest Naira Marley or Sam Larry,” Oluniyi told Punch on Thursday night.
