“Why do we always blame the victims” Mary Njoku slams Nigerians for blaming Moyo Lawal over her leaked tape

Mary Remmy Njoku, a Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has slammed Nigerians for blaming her colleague, Moyo Lawal, for her leaked tape.

Many have slammed Moyo Lawal for recording a bedroom tape of her and her lover in the aftermath of her private tape, especially given the growing rate of leaked tape among celebrities.

Mary, a close friend of Moyo Lawal, defended her and questioned why Nigerians are so quick to blame the victims.

She mentioned how we end up condemning victims of rape, swindle, robbery, revenge porn, cheating, and other crimes.
