Prophet Austin Ariole, the leader of Goshen Freedom Tabernacle, has refuted claims that Naira Marley was responsible for the death of singer Mohbad.
According to Ariole, it was witches from Mohbad’s family who caused his demise.
He made these assertions during a prayer gathering at Goshen Freedom Tabernacle.
Ariole expressed his disappointment in the Church for failing to protect Mohbad, and explained that the witches foresaw a bright future for him and decided to end his life.
He said, “I don’t like worldly musicians, but I just picked interest in this one, and when I was praying last night, God revealed to me that Naira Marley did not kill Mohbad. Witches from his village killed him.”
He also criticized Mohbad’s father for not doing enough to safeguard his son, despite people seeking refuge in mountains for the sake of their children.
He expressed concerns over the father’s focus on financial matters pertaining to the burial rather than the tragedy itself.
Recall that suspicions had pointed towards Naira Marley and Larry Sammy as suspects in Mohbad’s death, resulting in radio stations placing an indefinite ban on the former’s music.
