NLC, TUC to embark on indefinite strike nationwide from October 3

NLC begins indefinite strike in Oyo State

Both the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have announced their plan to go on an indefinite strike starting from October 3, 2023.

This decision was reached after the National Executive Council (NEC) meetings of both unions in Abuja.

NLC President, Joe Ajaero, explained that the government’s failure to address the unions’ demands has left them with no choice but to take this action.

Similarly, TUC President, Festus Osifo, stated that all workers are expected to stop working from October 3rd in accordance with the resolution made by the unions.
