JUST IN: NLC, TUC to declare indefinite strike today, to hold joint press briefing

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) will hold a joint press conference today at 3 p.m. to declare a statewide indefinite strike.

According to reports, the leaders of the two labor unions have settled their differences, prompting only the NLC to go on a two-day warning strike without the collaboration or participation of the TUC.

Following their separate organs’ meetings, the 2 centers would hold a joint press conference at 3 p.m. to announce an indefinite nationwide strike in response to the Federal Government’s failure to address the suffering and other socioeconomic hardships caused by the removal of subsidies on Premium Motor, PMS, commonly known as petrol.
