Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Shallipopi has hit back at fellow artist Sypro, following public criticism of his musical style during a recent podcast appearance.
The exchange, which unfolded on Twitter, has left fans and followers eagerly watching the feud escalate.
The confrontation began when Shallipopi took to Twitter to address the issue, acknowledging that not everyone is a fan of his music but emphasizing that he does not let such criticism affect him.
“Not everybody likes me, but not everybody matters, just stay in your lane and be silent, but don’t be proud.”
Sypro, a fellow artist, had publicly voiced his disapproval of Shallipopi’s musical style during a podcast, sparking the online feud.
Shallipopi’s response seemed to be a direct retort to Sypro’s critique, as he urged his colleague to avoid involving himself in discussions that don’t concern him and to embrace humility.
