Ashleigh Plumptre, a Super Falcons defender, scored a hat-trick on her debut as Al Ittihad defeated the Eastern Flames 3-0 in their season opener.
On the half-hour mark, Plumptre opened the score for Al Ittihad.
A minute after the hour mark, the dynamic defender volleyed home to double her team’s lead.
She completed her hat-trick five minutes later with a goal inside the box to seal the victory.
In the summer, the Nigerian joined Al Ittihad on a free transfer.
She was previously signed by Leicester City.
