“Hurt but grateful” Filmmaker Biodun Stephen arouse emotions as she recounts how her mother was murdered

Biodun Stephen, a popular Nigerian filmmaker, has described how her mother was killed by a drunk motorist.

The award-winning film director disclosed on Twitter that she drove by the location where her mother was killed and that not much has changed, since the building that the car was smashed into still stood, albeit in a different color.

She stated that she is still hurt, but she is glad for the journey.

In recalling the agonizing death, she recalled how, 23 years ago, a drunk motorist collided with her mother and got away with murder.

“Today, I drove past where my dear mother was killed. Much has changed but the car rammed her into still stood, only different in colour. Hurt but grateful for the journey this far. 23 years ago, my mother was killed by a drunk driver, and he got away with murder”.
