Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, have been ordered by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, to be held in police custody.
The court ruling was made on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
The Lagos State Police Command had requested that Fashola and the others be held for 30 days while their investigation is completed, but Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun decided to remand them for only 21 days.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry are currently being investigated in relation to the death of singer Aloba Ilerioluwa, also called Mohbad, which has sparked controversy.
In other news, Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Prime Boy, is now wanted by the Lagos State Police Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) as he has failed to respond to their invitation.
The police had requested his presence as part of their investigation into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
A statement signed by the Lagos Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, read in part: “Ibrahim is approximately 1.64-m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.
“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.
“The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest.”
