Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has taken to ‘X’ formerly Twitter to slam members and supporters of the Labour Party, LP, over the recent proposal by Nigerian lawmakers to purchase new vehicles for each lawmaker.
Unconfirmed reports claim the new vehicles will cost N130 million each. This has caused an outrage from Nigerians who believe it is wasteful for the lawmakers to spend such amount of money when the economy is in a bad shape.
In a post, Reno asked if any lawmaker in the Labour party has rejected the new car. Many believe that members of the Labour party are people oriented and would reject the new car.
‘’Up until now, not one Labour Party Legislator has rejected the SUV. Not even one.
But you are here insulting the PDP and the APC. How is Labour better?
