FIFA reacts as Super Falcons beat Australia to top Group B

The Super Falcons of Nigeria now have hope of receiving their World Cup bonus as FIFA has confirmed the payment of prize money to all Football Federations.

Each player from the Super Falcons will receive $60,000, despite their elimination at the Round of 16 stage.

Concerns arose regarding the Nigeria Football Federation’s ability to pay the players, but FIFA has reassured that they will receive their compensation.

he team, who have achieved a remarkable nine African championship titles, were eliminated by England’s Three Lionesses in the Round of 16.




The match ended in a thrilling 0-0 draw after 120 minutes of play, with England ultimately emerging victorious in a 4-2 penalty shootout.
