Mr Macaroni, the well-known Nigerian comedian and actor also known by his birth name Debo Adedayo Adebowale, is overjoyed to have received an honorary doctorate degree from Precious Cornerstone University in Ibadan.
Sharing the exciting news with his fans on his social media page, Mr Macaroni, famous for his role as a political figure and sugar daddy named ‘Daddy wa’, expressed his utmost happiness.
He was honored with the title of Doctor of Creative Writing (Honoris Causa) at the university’s 2nd convocation ceremony.
This esteemed recognition comes as no surprise considering his unwavering support for the #EndSars protest in 2020, where he fearlessly used his platform to advocate against police brutality, even after personally becoming a victim.
In his recent post, he wrote, “Dr Macaroni. 👨🏾🎓🎉.I am deeply honored to be considered worthy at the discretion of the Senate and Council of The Precious Corner Stone University Ibadan to be deemed deserving of public recognition and award of the prestigious degree of DOCTOR OF CREATIVE WRITING (HONORIS CAUSA)”
