The husband of “mummy calm down” boy’s mother, Mrs. Toluige Olokoobi, has been arrested, the Edo State Police Command has confirmed, following the viral news of her suicide a few days ago.
On Thursday, November 9, it was reported by Chidi Nwabuzor, the spokeswoman for the Edo State Police Command, that the husband of the deceased has been taken into detention and is being queried.
Additionally, the woman’s body has been deposited in the mortuary.
Nwabuzor said, “He alerted the neighbours who followed him to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. He’s still with the police and will soon be transferred to the State CID for further investigation.”
Recall Sabi Radio Reported on Wednesday on her X over the death of the woman, whose voice was heard scolding her son in a viral clip.
In the clip, the boy was kneeling down and telling his mother to ‘calm down’.
