”You signed me with no money and accommodation” – Rapper Idowest slams Dammy Krane

Rapper Idowest has openly lambasted Dammy Krane, his former record label head, in a candid disclosure. His complaints come from what he views as a lack of assistance throughout his tenure under Dami Crane’s label, citing difficulties such as poor housing and overall management.

Idowest revealed that when signed to Dammy Krane’s label, he had major obstacles, including a lack of accommodations. This prompted him to commute from his house to Lagos Island to work on his music, which was not only inconvenient but also hard on him as an artist.

Idowest elaborated on his experience, expressing unhappiness with Dammy Krane’s lack of help and resources. His comments come at a time when attention is focused on the well-being of artists, particularly in light of the terrible deaths of fellow musicians Oladips and MohBad.

Netizens have been urging artists to disclose their industry experiences and hardships, and Ida West’s testimony contributes to this increasing narrative.

This isn’t Dammy Krane’s first brush with controversy. He recently made headlines for his public feud with popular rapper Davido. He said Davido owed him money and demanded payback. In response, Davido recalled providing lodging for Dammy Krane in Atlanta, an act he hinted should be taken into account in the context of the purported debt.

The feud between Dammy and Davido erupted into an internet brawl, with Dammy Krane dubbing Davido a debt avoider. Dammy sought to engage Big Brother Naija’s Phyna, who has also had recent conflicts with Davido, during this debate.

In one instance, when Dammy Krane shared a negative post about Davido, Phyna reacted with laughter in a private message. Dammy Krane promptly made this reaction public, which led Phyna to quickly distance herself from the situation. She stated that his issues with Davido were none of her business and requested not to be dragged into their dispute.
