Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has voiced her backing for her fellow actress, Iyabo Ojo, in light of the N500 million lawsuit filed against her by Naira Marley.
Last week, Naira Marley, whose real name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola, took legal action against Iyabo Ojo, demanding a public apology or else face damages totaling N500 million.
The lawsuit accuses Iyabo Ojo of posting false and defamatory content about the singer on her Instagram page.
In response, Iyabo Ojo filed a counterclaim of N1 billion, alleging that Naira Marley and his attorney failed to serve her the lawsuit privately, instead allowing it to be shared online.
She deems this move as an attempt to blackmail her and mislead the public.
Expressing her support, Tonto Dikeh declared on her Instagram page that they would face this situation together, emphasizing her solidarity with Iyabo Ojo.
Tonto Dikeh wrote: “We started together, we end it together. Regardless”.
