Afrobeats star, Davido recently surprised a couple by making an unexpected appearance and performance at their wedding.
Videos capturing the surprise on social media showed Davido passionately singing one of his hit songs, ‘Unavailable,’ at the event, accompanied by his bodyguard.
The woman, whose sister received this unexpected performance, expressed her gratitude on social media, sharing multiple videos of Davido’s appearance. She detailed how she reached out to Davido about attending the wedding and how he committed to the surprise.
She concluded by wishing Davido success in his dealings for honouring her invitation.
In her posts, she wrote:
“When I told @davido my sister was getting married and asked if he would surprise her and her husband, he said consider it done and asked for the date.”
“He mentioned he’d be in Dubai but committed to flying in straight from the airport, and indeed he did!”
He consistently followed up to confirm the date and reassured me he would be there without any prompting. He said, ‘#TheHat, don’t worry, I got you.”
