Wizkid has been urged to pay royalties to Otse Vincent Martins, better known by his stage name Verydarkman, for using his intellectual property “Don’t Play” in his latest song, “Diamonds.”
Wizkid, according to Verydarkman, owes him money because he broke his word.
He claimed that all of the terms he frequently uses are protected by intellectual property rights, and he even shared a copy of the paperwork proving that the phrase “Don’t Play” is his exclusive property.
Tunde Ednut, who frequently reposts VDM’s films, posted the video to Instagram with the caption:
“What are your thoughts?” 🤣🤣🤣
The clip generated a slew of comments from netizens who voiced out their thoughts.
