Ayra Starr, the Afrobeat star also known as Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, is eagerly looking forward to the Grammy awards. She has been nominated for Best African Music Performance at the 2024 Grammys for her hit single “Rush.”
In an interview with Cool FM hosted by OAP, Do2dtun, Ayra expressed her excitement and readiness for the big day, scheduled for Sunday, February 4.
When asked about her plans if she were to win the award, Ayra mentioned that her first stop would be her favorite Chinese restaurant, where she would indulge in a hearty meal.
Afterward, she would video call her mother to share her joy.
Ayra Starr revealed that she has already rehearsed her walk, selected her outfit, and even prepared her Grammy acceptance speech.
She remains hopeful for the win but is prepared with her speech and outfit for the following year in case she doesn’t receive the award.
