Nigerian actress and film producer, Toyin Abraham, has shown her support for the victims of the recent Ibadan explosion.
On Tuesday, January 16, an explosion in Ibadan caused extensive damage to homes within a 14-kilometer area. It is believed that the explosion was caused by illegal mining activities.
Toyin Abraham visited the affected areas to offer her sympathy and practical assistance.
She distributed Indomie, beverages, and various food items to those affected.
She documented her visit on Instagram, sharing a video of her meeting with Dexterity, a well-known event planner in Ibadan, who was also affected by the explosion.
Toyin was also seen at the scene of the explosion.
This gesture from Toyin Abraham comes shortly after attending the high-profile wedding of Kunle Remi and his wife, Tiwi, at the Golden Tulip hotel in GRA, Ibadan.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “I went to see Ruth and her family who were affected by the bodija blast 👏👏I will be posting more videos from the scene. To everyone affected May God replenish the loss and heal your wounds, I’m short of words💔 Ruth we love u and I’m deeply sorry once again❤️@odogwu_the_tailor I love u so much Ruth”.
