Uche Maduagwu, a media personality and actor, took a shot at fellow actor Yul Edochie in a recent social media post.
The drama began when Yul Edochie made a public request for his ex-wife May Edochie to repay the bridal price he paid when they married. Uche Maduagwu, on the other hand, was not having any of it and spoke his thoughts on the subject.
Maduagwu chastised Yul for not understanding Igbo culture, claiming that his haste to post such details on social media revealed his ignorance. He also accused Yul Edochie of being spiritually confused.
Yul’s concern over May Edochie dropping his last name before the divorce was official was also questioned by Uche Maduagwu. He stated that there is no legal requirement for a woman to give up her ex-husband’s surname, especially if she had a substantial role in his success.
Uche Maduagwu didn’t mince words, telling Yul to avoid dishonoring his father’s legacy by “spiritual ignorance.”
