Calvin Harris’ lavish Beverly Hills mansion was engulfed in flames due to an electrical malfunction, according to reports from TMZ.
Emergency responders were alerted on Wednesday night after a strong smell of smoke was detected in the residence.
Approximately 10 fire trucks, accompanied by EMTs, rushed to the scene to combat the blaze.
Luckily, neither Calvin Harris nor his wife, Vick Hope, were present at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters identified the source of the fire to be an area on the third floor near the home theater.
Consequently, they had to break through a section of the roof on the second floor to gain access to the flames, with witnesses witnessing smoke escaping from the roof.
After nearly 50 minutes, the firefighters successfully extinguished the fire, but the estimated cost of the damage is approximately $100,000 (£79,200).
In 2022, the renowned DJ and record producer, who previously dated Taylor Swift from 2015 to 2016, listed the sprawling ten-bedroom mansion for sale at $25 million (£19.8 million).
However, it remained unsold, and currently, it is believed to be on lease to tenants.
