Calvin Harris is preparing to become a father for the first time—two years after getting married.
The 41-year-old Scottish DJ has been married to radio presenter Vick Hope, 35, since 2023.
Speculation has been growing in recent weeks that the relatively newlyweds might be expecting, as Hope has been seen with a noticeable baby bump at various public events.
Now, the Radio 1 host has officially shared the news, telling her audience during Monday’s drivetime show, “I should probably also say this is my final week before I go on maternity leave.”
She was joined on air by reality star Jamie Laing, who will be filling in during her leave, and who took the opportunity to express his admiration.
Laing, 36, said, “You’re an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you’re just going to be an amazing mum.”
Hope responded with, “Oh, thank you,” before continuing the broadcast.
Hope and Calvin Harris—known for his chart-topping hits like I’m Not Alone, Summer, and Sweet Nothing featuring Florence Welch—began their relationship in January 2022 and tied the knot in September 2023.
Calvin Harris has previously been linked to several well-known figures, including singer Rita Ora, with whom he collaborated on the number one hit I Will Never Let You Down, and pop icon Taylor Swift.
