Britney Spears has described her single life as “awesome” despite rumors of rekindling her relationship with ex-boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz.
In an Instagram post showing her dancing, the singer wrote that she is a “hopeless romantic who understands the joys of being single.”
Britney Spears and Paul briefly dated in September of last year after meeting when he worked as a housekeeper for her in late 2022.
Rumors of them growing close surfaced after Britney’s split from husband Sam Asghari in August 2023.
However, their relationship reportedly ended when Britney Spears discovered Paul’s criminal history, including a conviction for felony firearm possession in 2020.
At the time, a source revealed, “Britney hooked up with him twice and, at the time, (she) did not know about his criminal past. She no longer has any communication with him.”
Despite Britney’s recent post, sources told US Weekly that “Britney and Paul are definitely together,” confirming that Paul is “still in the picture,” and spends “two or three nights a week” at her place. “She doesn’t like it when he leaves.”
