Terry G publicly confronted Timaya on Instagram, accusing him of not paying royalties.
The “Akpako Master” singer expressed frustration and anger regarding the situation without holding back.
In a recent social media post, Terry G revealed his contemplation of speaking out about the issue after hearing other musicians discuss their experiences with unpaid royalties on podcasts.
He warned that when he does address the matter, he will do so boldly and decisively.
Terry G emphasized his demand for Timaya and other artists to pay him the producer publishing royalties he is owed.
Using his own experience as an example, he lamented being taken advantage of and mistreated by other producers.
He wrote:
“Looking at all the podcasts and disclosure artists speaking up, the day I go talk on my own, the table will be used for firewood. If you know I produced this song for you,
“I need my 50% producer publishing royalties from Himaya and others. But all the producers out there use me as an example of how they use and dump greatness. But still, I rise.”
