Kanye West, the controversial American rapper, boldly stated that he is the creator of every dominant music style in pop culture over the past twenty years.
He suggested that he was the mastermind behind trap, drill, contemporary R&B, and basement music.
Furthermore, Kanye West claimed to have inspired the musical styles of artists such as The Weeknd, Drake, Travis Scott, Future, and Young Thug.
“I created this genre. I created Weeknd’s genre, Trav, Drake. I’m gon’ head and say it with all love Future and Thug also,” Daily Loud quoted him as saying.
