Man City play out thrilling 1-1 draw with Liverpool, as Arsenal Hold On at the Top of the EPL

Liverpool drew with Manchester City on Sunday, the second time this Premier League season.

Before the game, the two teams were in second and third place, respectively, as Arsenal won 2-1 over Brentford on Saturday to take the lead.

The hosts’ opening goal came from a corner kick by John Stones.

Alexis MacAllister scored the equalizer from the penalty spot early in the second period.

Ederson had wiped out Darwin Nunez after Nathan Ake’s bad backpass, injuring himself.

However, the two factions were ultimately unable to separate.

Arsenal now leads the table on goal differential from second-placed Liverpool, with City a point behind in third place.
