Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, is once again in the news for the wrong reason when previously unseen footage of her body-shaming a pregnant Laura Ikeji surfaced online.
In the video, the actress, a Real Housewives of Lagos ensemble member, body-shamed Laura during a pool scene at Salt Beach.
Iyabo remarked that Laura Ikeji cannot wear a bikini because she is not sexy. Iyabo also mentioned that Laura was unable to enter the water due to her legs, which she compared to yams.
Laura mentioned during the reunion how Iyabo brutally body-shamed her without realizing she was pregnant.
“When we came downstairs, the first thing Iyabo told me was to wear my bikini to the pool and I can’t show my body because my body isn’t fine. Look at your leg, your leg is big, look at your tummy and I was fùcking pregnant”.
So Iyabo was bodyshaming Laura in the pool scene at Salt Beach, and she claims it was all scripted, that production edited things, etc

The video has since sparked outrage online, with many pointing out the hypocrisy of how Iyabo was fighting for Mohbad yet bullying others.
