North West, the 10-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye ‘Ye’ West, has announced that she is currently working on her first album.
Titled Elementary School Dropout, North revealed the exciting news during a listening party for Kanye’s upcoming album Vultures 2 in Phoenix, Arizona.
This album title pays tribute to Kanye West‘s successful debut album College Dropout, released 20 years ago.
North made her rap debut on Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s track Talking, which reached number 30 on the Hot 100 chart, making her one of the youngest artists to achieve this milestone.
She also performed the song live at a Paris listening party on 25 February.
North is the eldest of Kanye and Kim’s four children. The former couple, who were married from 2014 to 2022, also share Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four.
A release date for Elementary School Dropout has not yet been announced.
