On social media, there appears to be a new drama brewing between Nollywood stars Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli.
The duo has been throwing heavy shadows on their separate Instagram stories without revealing names, but netizens could decipher that the shades were intended for them.
Tosin Silverdam, a gossip blogger, started the rumors by sharing screenshots from their posts indicating their apparent dispute.
Ruth Kadiri told a colleague on her Instagram story not to hijack and interfere with her artists. She accused the individual of purchasing views on the YouTube streaming platform, which lowered the ratings of her protégés.
“IF YOU KNOW YOU’RE ONE OF THOSE BUYING VIEWS ON YOUTUBE STOP CALLING MY ARTIST!!! I WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU DESTROY! ONCE THEY APPEAR ON YOUR CHANNEL THEIR RPMS BECOMES MESSED UP! I WILL NOT WARN YOU AGAIN! IF YOU CANNOT GROW ORGANICALLY, GROOM YOUR OWN CASTS. THANKS,” Ruth Kadiri wrote.
In what seems to be a response, Omoni Oboli quoted a three-versed scripture to fight back against enemies who rose up in judgment against her.
“Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded! So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high. The LORD shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.”
