Famous Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, responds aggressively to criticism following her controversial post about wishing for a mother-in-law like Mohbad’s mother.
Iyabo Ojo had faced backlash after suggesting that women should pray for a mother-in-law like Mohbad’s mother, during a post celebrating the 50th birthday of Mr Joseph Aloba’s ex-wife.
In a live session addressing the negative comments, Ojo fired back at her critics, condemning their rudeness and defending her statements about Mohbad’s mother’s past struggles.
She also defended Mohbad’s mother’s decision to leave her children for ten years, citing hardships she faced with Mr Joseph Aloba.
“What is your concern with my post? Are you all suffering from absent parents? Do you know what she faced in the marriage before abandoning her children for ten years? You lots are unfortunate fools.
“Are you crazy? All of you cursing that woman will be affected by that curse and your home generations. Most of your mothers are worthless and can’t even be showed off,” she said partly in the Yoruba language.
