UCL: Arsenal hold Bayern, Real Madrid draw 3-3 with Man City

Arsenal were denied a late penalty in their 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich, leaving Bukayo Saka visibly upset with the referee’s decision.

The on-field referee did not award Arsenal a penalty in stoppage time despite replays showing Manuel Neuer fouled Saka inside the box.

Despite protestations from Arsenal players, including Saka, the referee’s judgment was upheld, leaving the Gunners disappointed.

Saka, who had previously scored a stunning goal to open the scoring for Arsenal in the quarter-final encounter, appeared visibly agitated as he approached the referee to protest the ruling, which VAR did not examine. While Saka took the early lead, Bayern equalized minutes later through Serge Gnabry.

Harry Kane then put the visitors ahead with a penalty, only for Leandro Trossard’s smart equalizer to keep Arsenal’s Champions League hopes alive.
