Why Nigeria lost AFCON final to Ivory Coast – Odumodublvck

Odumodublvck tells celebrities who are loved by all

Nigerian rapper OdumoduBlvck discussed the Super Eagles’ loss in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to Ivory Coast during a recent performance.

He believes that Nigeria’s defeat was simply not meant to be, citing the concept of ‘Que Sera Sera’ to emphasize that fate was not on their side.

OdumoduBlvck highlighted the performance of Ivorian and Dortmund star Sebastian Haller, who played a crucial role in Ivory Coast’s success in the tournament. He admired Haller’s remarkable comeback from battling testicular cancer in 2022 and returning to professional football in January 2023.

In the AFCON 2023 final, Haller scored the winning goal for Ivory Coast against Nigeria, leading them to their third AFCON title.

OdumoduBlvck sees this as a testament to fate and a way for the universe to honor Haller’s triumph over cancer.

“The reason Nigeria lost the cup is because we were never meant to win it. There’s a player called Sebastine Haller for Ivory Coast, he suffered testicular cancer, he played nothing in that match but he was the one that scored the winning goal,” he said in part.
