Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has reignited his public dispute with former label Chocolate City Music, alleging that the company has repeatedly attempted to have him arrested amid ongoing disagreements between the two parties.
The rapper made the claims in a series of posts shared on X, alleging that multiple petitions and legal actions had been filed against him, particularly during periods when he was preparing for international tours.
According to the rapper, the latest development marks what he described as another failed attempt to disrupt his activities.
“9TH ATTEMPT GONE WRONG. MY MOTION DEY PEPPER THEM.
“CHOCOLATE CITY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ARREST ME FOR THE LONGEST TIME.
“THEY TRIED BEFORE MY AMERICAN TOUR, NOW THEY ARE TRYING WITH THE EUROPEAN TOUR,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck further alleged that the actions were linked to his decision to publicly speak about what he described as an alleged sexual abuser associated with the label.
The rapper claimed he had previously exposed issues involving an individual connected to the company and suggested that his public comments contributed to the ongoing conflict.
“BECAUSE I EXPOSED THE SEXUAL ABUSER UNDER THEIR ROOF, THEIR LIES AND THEIR BOTS,” he alleged.
The rapper also directed criticism toward the Nigeria Police Force, questioning the handling of petitions allegedly sent to him and expressing concerns about the process through which he was contacted.
According to him, some of the petitions lacked basic contact information and raised questions about how he was expected to respond.
“.@PoliceNG IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL, I WILL POST EVERY SINGLE AND FRIVOLOUS PETITION THAT YOU SENT TO ME.
“YOU SEND A PETITION WITHOUT A PHONE NUMBER ON IT. DO YOU WANT TO KIDNAP ME?” he wrote.
Odumodublvck further claimed that efforts were being made to interfere with his professional engagements by filing petitions ahead of his scheduled tours.
“SENDING PETITIONS BEFORE MY TOUR SO POLICE CAN DETAIN ME.
“BECAUSE YOUR ARTIST CANNOT TOUR.
“MY MOTION DEY MAKE DEM SICK,” he added.
The rapper also alleged that authorities had previously failed to adequately address a complaint involving the individual he described as a sexual abuser, claiming the matter was resolved privately after an apology and compensation were allegedly made to the complainant.
However, he did not provide evidence to support the allegation in his posts.
The latest accusations add another chapter to a long-running public dispute between Odumodublvck and individuals connected to Chocolate City Music.
In late 2025, disagreements between the rapper and label executives became public, leading to legal proceedings, counter-allegations, and claims of intimidation from both sides.
As of the time of filing this report, Chocolate City Music had not publicly responded to the rapper’s latest allegations.
The Nigeria Police Force had also not issued an official statement regarding the claims.
Given the seriousness of the allegations, including claims of criminal conduct and attempts at unlawful arrest, observers say the matter may ultimately require clarification through the courts or through relevant law enforcement investigations.
For now, the dispute continues to play out in the public arena, with fans closely monitoring developments between one of Nigeria’s most outspoken rap stars and the influential music company that once played a role in his career.
